Children’s Museum of the Arts Presents: LITTLE ARTISTS — an exhibition by Justin Teodoro
- 3:01 am - 12:59 pm | Thursday August 25, 2022
- Gallery | Ace Hotel Brooklyn
Children’s Museum of the Arts is pleased to present selected works from its Permanent Collection curated by artist, illustrator, and designer Justin Teodoro in the Gallery at Ace Hotel Brooklyn. The installation will be on view to the public July 7 – September 29.
“I’ve always been struck by Keith Haring’s famous quote, “Children know something that most people have forgotten,” said Teodoro. When Children’s Museum of the Arts approached me about this special opportunity I knew I wanted to tap into that free spirit that’s present in each and every work in their permanent collection of over 2,000 artworks created by children over the last century.”
The presentation will include an intimate selection of artworks that aspires to encourage the public to rediscover their love and joy in making art without judgment. To celebrate the opening of the installation, CMA and Ace Hotel Brooklyn will be hosting a cocktail reception on July 7th from 6-8 pm

ABOUT CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF THE ARTS
Children’s Museum of the Arts (CMA) unites children and artists to create and share ambitious works of art with their communities and the world. Born out of an artist’s SoHo studio in 1988, the museum has built a living collection of over 2,000 works by children from over 50 countries dating back nearly a century, while connecting young New Yorkers to art and artists. In 2021 CMA’s Executive Director Seth Cameron established The Look Make Show, the first digital commons specifically designed for child-artist-centered learning.
