Home is where the family meets for dinner. Join our restaurant As You Are in the Demo Kitchen for a special four-course journey through intergenerational legacies and the coupling of Italian-American cuisine.
Serving mushroom-stuffed amuse-bouche, lobster casserole and deep dish apple pie à la mode, Ace Hotel Brooklyn’s Executive Chef, Michael King, and Chef Ed Cotton get inspired by childhoods spent in old Boston’s The Cottage Crest. Thoroughly missed for its scratch-made meals, Chef Michael now keeps the “rug joint’s” memory alive in the daily hearty fare at As You Are.
We’ve heard Ed and Michael’s fathers, former The Cottage Crest chefs themselves, will also make an appearance. The perfect evening of cooking, kin and, of course, wine pairings.
