Join poet Allison Brainard for drinks in The Garden to celebrate the launch of her debut chapbook with Wonder Press. Allison will read from the book and there will be one or two surprise performances as well.

In ‘I CAN BE THE DAD I SEE,’ Allison Brainard searches for self-integration, reflecting upon the influence of various patriarchal figures that have crossed her path and entered her psyche, including her dad, her boyfriend, her doctor, her imaginary celebrity step-father, random men in shorts and more.
