This Summer, DJ Kibachan curates a selection of Japanese tunes in the Lobby.

Hailing from Japan in 1989, DJ Kibachan (Hiromi Kiba, they/them) first experienced the NYC dance floors and traveled extensively to join global music communities as a passionate dancer. During the pandemic, they rediscovered record digging and listening as a healing process and have been sharing their love of music publicly ever since. DJ Kibachan regularly plays at Nightmoves and Jupiter Disco.

Maya Luz is a multifaceted artist and designer who grew up between New York City and the East Coast. Her work has covered various facets of media, including fashion design, poetry, creative writing, dj’ing, podcasting, songwriting, visual art and even a stint on a nationally acclaimed TV series.
