A VIBE CALLED BLESSED is a movement dedicated to feel good music that highlights classic R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, Boogie & Hip-Hop, Dancehall and House from the GOLDEN ERA. It’s our way of giving back to the our community of beautiful music lovers. Come and feel blessed with the vibes.

About

DJ Bles-sed got her start collecting and spinning vinyl back in Vancouver in 2002. Since then, she has been bringing her sound across Canada, US, Asia and Mexico. Over the span of her career DJ Bles-sed has been honored and humbled to share the stage with notable artists such as Estelle, Raphael Saadiq, Tony! Toni! Toné!, SWV, Stretch Armstrong, DJ Tony Touch, DJ Spinna, Lord Finesse, Large Professor, Kool DJ Red Alert and has showcased for The New York Knicks Game at Madison Square Garden. At a Bles-sed party be prepared to dance to a divine mix of R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, Funk, Boogie, House, Dancehall and everything soulful thrown into the cut as Bles-sed builds the vibe to one of heavenly heights.

Jahmedicine is a Brooklyn based DJ, Performer and curator that specializes in giving his audience elevated musical experiences. Jahmedicine has a special way of unifying different genres, cultures, and energies to ensure that the experience is an unforgettable moment in time.

P.U.D.G.E. started DJing in the mid 90′s in his hometown of Jamaica, Queens. Studying local DJ legends and Jamaican Sound Systems, all the while honing his skills in the “blend-tape” era, he focused on perfecting the art of live “blends” and remixes. After graduating SJU in NY & joining the VJC (Vinyl Junkie Clique), he relocated to Los Angeles in 2004 to jump-start his musical career. There, he acted as tour DJ for L.A. Hip-Hop legends: Fat Lip (Pharcyde), and Myka Nyne (Freestyle Fellowship). He has collaborated and performed alongside famed LA Beatsmiths Flying Lotus, Computer Jay, Dibiase, and Ras G(R.I.P) P.U.D.G.E also released various instrumental projects & is considered & an important part of the then burgeoning LA “Beat Scene”. His release, “Idiot Box” (Ramp Recordings) along with a feature on the All City LA series 10 x 10 series, were both released in 2010. P.U.D.G.E has had the honor of showcasing his unique DJ style and passion for music to world-famous parties and venues. He has performed at Do-Over (LA), Low-End Theory (LA), SESAC music awards & Grammy parties(’22, ’23) as well as various UK/EU festivals and nightclubs. P.U.D.G.E has been a vital member of the teams that created the legendary EYESPY, RITUAL DANCE, & THE JUNGLE, Parties in BKlyn… & was also featured in the NYC Summerstage Series at Queensbridge park, & The Remy Martin After Dark Jazz Nights at NUBLU. The Triple Threat(Emcee, producer, DJ) recently relocated to NOLA in May 2023. His eclectic DJ and Production sets draw from a broad range of influences; you can catch him spinning anything from RnB to Bounce, Reggae to Rock, Hip-Hop, and Afrobeat, back to Jazz and Funk. P.U.D.G.E continues to drop independent projects via pudge222.bandcamp.com. He is currently working on a follow up to the 2020 uptempo LP AUMDANSO. His production has recently been featured on albums “We Buy Diabetic Test Strips” by Armand Hammer,”I told Bessie” by Elucid, a Collaborative EP “Any Given Twosday” with fellow VJC alum Yamin Semali, & is currently working on music with various artists, including Senegalese rapper Amary GG, & Singer-Songwriter Jaime Woods.
