KPCC Presents
AirTalk’s FilmWeek: 20th Annual Oscar Preview
12pm Doors | 1pm Show
We’re back in person just in time for FilmWeek’s 20th annual Oscar preview show. It’s part of our Public Radio Palooza – a year-long public radio party – and you’re invited! Join host Larry Mantle (he/him) and KPCC’s FilmWeek critics at the historic Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, March 20.
The pandemic has impacted the way we watch movies in many ways, but theaters slowly started to reopen their doors over the last year, giving us a sense of a return to “normal.” And it’s been a big year for films! So there’s lots to talk about.
Join Larry and our top-notch critics a week before the 94th Academy Awards ceremony, as they break down the major categories and nominations and offer their hot takes, praise and even eyerolls. Remember to wear your mask and bring proof of vaccination or negative Covid test. More info about the Theatre at Ace Hotel’s health & safety requirements can be found here.
