About:
angelcement is a Mexican American Dj who is born and raised in Los Angeles. She has played a residency at the Ace Hotel Palm Springs last year. Most recently she has played at Jeffrey Deitch Gallery, Cafe Triste, Club Teegee, Dublab as well as been guest featured on Bianca Lexi’s Radio show on NTS. During her early teens, a passion for music came about as she meticulously crafted playlists for her daily commutes on public transportation, shuttling between high school in the valley and her home in Boyle Heights. Whispr (Vivian Buenrostro) is a multidisciplinary artist working in image making, sculpture and performance. Similar to her work, her dj sets explore themes of birth, decay, purity and transcendence.
