Ira Glass & Jad Abumrad: An Evening with the Creators of This American Life & Radiolab

Rescheduled from 07/23/22

6PM Doors | 7PM Show

Want to sound smart at dinner parties? Impress your friends and family with interesting facts and intriguing stories? Any episode of This American Life or Radiolab would be a great place to start. Both shows take deep dives into science-based stories, focusing on the human details behind them and leave listeners enlightened, uplifted, and a little smarter than when they started.

On Dec 10, Ira Glass (he/him), host of This American Life, and Jad Abumrad (he/him), creator of Radiolab, come together to take you on a journey of insight, investigation, and humanity in a way that only they can. Join us for a night with these public radio luminaries, in conversation live onstage at the historic Theatre at Ace Hotel. It’s all part of KPCC’s Public Radio Palooza—you knew we couldn’t possibly throw a public radio party without inviting these two.

This event is part of KPCC’s Public Radio Palooza, a year-long celebration of all the ways public radio brings us together, featuring some of the most legendary and innovative creators in the public media landscape.

Baraye Avaleen Bar: Afghan Women on Tintype at Gallery

Tintype, a photographic process from the 19th century, is historically rooted in documenting war, including both soldiers and combat zones.
