NLV Records Lobby Residency

Meet our August residents, curated by NLV Records. Founded by Nina Agzarian (a.k.a Nina Las Vegas), the label is known for unearthing and fostering new talent in the Australian dance music scene. Catch them every Friday night in the Lobby, from 6pm til midnight.

August 5 – Fried Pork Chop

Named after a delicious meal, this delicious DJ brings the vibes with his blend of well seasoned, spicy tunes from wherever and whenever.

August 12 – Farnozz

Sydney icon Farnozz is a Creative Director and DJ who pushes the boundaries both at home and abroad. The founder of Place, an exciting new club night which highlights underground talent and culture, Farnozz’s sets are an eclectic mix of Drill, Baile reworks and Afro Riddims.

August 19 – Foura

FOURA’s music foray began in her early teens having started out by curating mixtapes on burnt CDs with journeys tailored for each of her friends. Alongside her growing catalogue of releases, FOURA also has an extensive live resume that includes festival circuit appearances at Let Them Eat Cake, Falls Festival and Beyond The Valley.

August 26 – Strict Face

Adelaide-based producer Strict Face connects the dots between the soundsystem-centric world of dance music and pop production. His deft ear has landed him production credits for Le1f, Cadence Weapon and Cakes da Killa, and remixes for Dawn Richard and Dro Carey. Amongst countless other acts, he’s supported Pearson Sound, Zed Bias, Machinedrum, Cashmere Cat and Murlo on tour, played at Laneway Festival, FOMO and Paradise Music Festival, and recorded mixes for FACT Magazine, Truants, i-D, Rinse FM and triple j.
