SONO Hosts a rotating series of artists in residence that step on stage each month in a curated show deemed The Shape of Jazz to Come. This week’s artist is Basher. They are all about walking the line between creative improvisation and dance-crazed party music by way of two saxophones, analog synthesizers and two drumsets.

New Orleans based conceptual photographer, Kimberly Ha returns to Ace New Orleans to share her workshop, Behind The Lens. She will share her wealth of knowledge about photography and her process. In this 1.5 hour hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how Kimberly produces a shoot from start to finish with little to no budget. RSVP is highly suggested. Materials to Bring: Laptop (preferred) or something to take notes on Camera (digital preferred) or iPhone Open mindset!

Josephine Estelle Pasta Making Workshop at Josephine Estelle
Executive Chef Trey Williams and the Josephine Estelle crew are hosting their pasta-making and wine-tasting class on April 20 from 2-4pm. Chef demonstrates how to create and hand roll pasta dough then takes the result and serves it with one of our famous sauces. The party doesn’t stop there, we’ll have Pietra Bijos, our area director of food & beverage, guiding participants through a wine tasting to cap a delicious meal.
