As part of her exhibition in The Gallery space – An End Uncertain – Taryne Messer owner of TAKATA NURSERY gives a brief demo-lecture on her techniques and principles for presenting plants as sculpture with emphasis on the beloved geranium. Students will then experiment with potting and arranging their own 5” geranium in a clay pot, to take home.

Please note that soil will be used; dress accordingly.
All materials required will be provided for class.

Takata Nursery is a long-term project to grow plants— urging what therapeutic modes of
seeing, being are realized through the act of tending.
