The Summer Solstice is almost upon us. We’ve got lots and lots planned to celebrate the official start of summer, and to help you make the most of the longest, sunniest day of the year. See you on June 21. 

All-Day Golden Hour + Good Boy Wine

Everyone in Tinseltown knows that Golden Hour – the time in the afternoon just before the sun sets – makes for beautiful cinematography. At LOAM it’s the name of our happy hour when we offer a special menu of food and drink priced at $10 or less. For the solstice, LOAM will be serving our Golden Hour menu all day from 12pm-close. Save your seats.

From 4-6pm, stroll up to LOAM’s mezzanine to meet up with our pals, Angeleno natural winemakers, Good Boy Wine, for complimentary tasting pours and $10 glasses of their newest varietals.

Upstairs: Rejuvenation and Revelry

Upstairs honors the mystical tradition of the solstice being a time of soulful nourishment and jubilee. All day long, the Energy Annex’s collective of energetic and spiritual practitioners will be booking appointments for individual readings. Pricing varies per practitioner, book an appointment here.

And from 3-8pm, DJ Alex Lemire will be throwing a dance party while Coco Dealers serves up revitalizing fresh coconuts, and Papers + Ink Studio styles up the smokes with an organic hemp rolling station.

Sunset to All Night

As the solstice sun starts its descent, Segovia Hall on the second floor keeps the fun times going. Groove into summertime with a new ‘do or some fresh ink. The legendary Japanese barbershop Mr. Brothers Cut Club, and the femme-forward Arts District tattoo studio Uh Huh Honey will be booking appointments for haircuts and summer flash tattoos from 6pm-midnight. Haircuts are $60 (plus beard trim and shave offerings) and tattoos are $100. Starting at 7PM, longtime Ace collaborator, Dublab, hits the decks, and keeps the dancefloor going until the midnight hour.
