CeeLo Green will be joining Loyola professor of African American literature, Black pop culture and speculative race theory, Dr. Scott Heath, for an intimate conversation surrounding Green’s start and success in the music industry. Open to guests and students alike, the talk will take place at Ace New Orleans’ Barnett Hall, with a portion of proceeds from ticket sales benefitting local New Orleans nonprofits, Son of a Saint and The Roots of Music, both dedicated to the empowerment of the city’s youth through education and mentorship programs.

Josephine Estelle Pasta Making Workshop at Josephine Estelle
Executive Chef Trey Williams and the Josephine Estelle crew are hosting their pasta-making and wine-tasting class on April 20 from 2-4pm. Chef demonstrates how to create and hand roll pasta dough then takes the result and serves it with one of our famous sauces. The party doesn’t stop there, we’ll have Pietra Bijos, our area director of food & beverage, guiding participants through a wine tasting to cap a delicious meal.
