This week enjoy a cool treat from Only Flans & DJ Kelly Green

Chef Ely Navarro Hernandez, a savory chef who left the restaurant industry just before the pandemic, started Only Flans in 2020. She has been dishing up her mother’s Cuban  flan recipe, as well as, new flan flavor concoctions in pop ups all around New Orleans. Featured on a growing number of restaurant menus around town and taking preorders for whole flan, it’s been amazing to see only flan, getting so popular around town!

Josephine Estelle Pasta Making workshop at Josephine Estelle

Executive Chef Trey Williams and the Josephine Estelle crew are hosting their pasta-making and wine-tasting class on February 24 from 2-4pm. Chef demonstrates how to create and hand roll pasta dough then takes the result and serves it with one of our famous sauces. The party doesn’t stop there, we’ll have Pietra Bijos, our area director of food & beverage, guiding participants through a wine tasting to cap a delicious meal.
