When you first arrive, feel free to temporarily park your vehicle in our loading zone just outside of the hotel. You’re welcome to stay parked there for 15 minutes while we get you checked in and settled into your room. We offer valet parking hosted through The Woodlark, which is just a short three blocks away. Valet is available 24-7 for Ace Hotel guests and is $50 a night with in & out privileges. 

There are plenty of privately-operated lots in the area which we can direct you to once you’ve unloaded your vehicle. The nearest can be found at the below address, just a few short blocks from our front door:

No, we don’t.

You can buy some things right out of your room, like the custom Pendleton blanket, vintage vinyl and exclusive wings + horns hoodie robe just by taking them with you — we’ll charge it after you checkout.

We have an online shop too, where you can find Ace-made wares and collaborations, and just some things we think are cool. And if you miss Ace New Orleans, Brooklyn, New York, Palm Springs, Seattle, Los Angeles or Kyoto, you can find souvenirs you forgot to buy when you were there.

We also have luxuries and necessities, gift certificates and good stuff — like Rudy’s Barbershop bath products, Ace shirts and totes, records, books and jewelry — for sale at the front desk store.

No. All rooms are completely non-smoking. If you light up or vape inside the hotel we must charge a $250 smoking fee to your card, plus taxes.

Pets are like family to our guests. When we say pet we really mean dog, but just get in touch if you have something stranger or larger and we’ll try to make it work. There is a limit of 2 pets per room and there is a $25 fee per night, which caps out at $75. Please note that pets are only allowed in guest rooms, and that there will be a pet waiver to sign when you check-in. Add them to your reservation as a note or reach out to us to let us know they will be joining you. We know that they can sometimes cause damage, and if that does happen the repair/additional-cleaning costs would be added to your bill.

Pets must always be on a leash or a suitable carrier for their safety as well as everyone around them. The person whose name is on the reservation is responsible for any damage caused by our furry, or otherwise, friends and the resulting repair, replacement, cleaning and labor costs as applicable. It’s best to let us inspect the room just prior to your departure so that you don’t find any ‘unexpected’ charges on your card after you check-out.

Some areas such as Food and Beverage areas are off limits for pets.
They cannot be left alone in the room or any part of the hotel and must always be accompanied by their designated human -we’d feel bad if they got lost or were nervous and sad by themselves.

The ‘Pet in room Sign’, which also functions as a Do-Not-Disturb sign must be placed on the door handle always to remind any staff delivering to or cleaning your room that you have a pet with you in the room; we don’t want any unexpected surprises on either side.

A great pet is a well trained pet; any noise disturbances caused to your neighbors as a result of your pet howling or barking, or any other noise they might make constantly would result in us charging you for the compensation afforded to them. Let’s do our best to avoid such a situation.

Our modification and cancellation terms vary per rate plan booked. Please refer to the reservation policies while you are making your reservation. These can be found during the booking process and in your reservation confirmation.

Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card at the time of booking. Payment is taken upon check-out unless stated otherwise. Please refer to our payment policy and T&Cs when booking online.

All rooms are equipped with Rudy’s shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, a flat-screen TV, radio with input, hairdryer, the best bathrobe, an iron, clothing steamer, hot water kettle, mini fridge and free wifi.

Ace Hotel Portland has many ADA compliant rooms. Please call our Reservations team or use our website to book one of these rooms.

Our lobby has ADA accessible entrances with ramp access or elevators. Public and shared guest bathrooms are ADA accessible and our fire alarms in rooms and in public spaces are equipped with both flashing lights and audio alerts. Braille signage is featured in our elevators and on floor signage.

Stumptown:

Stumptown is one of our oldest, best Northwest friends. Based here in Portland, they’re committed to sourcing, roasting and brewing the best coffees available anywhere. Stumptown has exceptionally high standards for serving coffee, so the drinks you’ll get from the café are consistently simple and exquisite. It’s right off the lobby, so you don’t have to travel far — it has an ADA accessible ramp from the street, which you can use to enter the hotel, too. And if you order coffee with your room service, it’s Stumptown who makes it.
