Join Marlowe for a screening of Kit Zauhar’s debut film Actual People. Actual People follows an aimless girl in her final week of college goes to great lengths to win the affections of a boy from her hometown, Philadelphia, and ends up having to confront anxieties about her love life, family, and future.
Screening will have a hard start at 5:15 and Q&A will follow.

Salon 51 invites you to converge, mingle, share wise words and maybe even gossip amongst friends, new and old. Inspired by the legacy of the French salon, socializing outside of your circle is encouraged, as is a touch of glamour. Author Marlowe Granados sets the pace of the cinq à sept gatherings in Evangeline.

Kit Zauhar is a writer, director, and actress from Philly. Her second film will world premiere at SXSW in March. Here’s some more info on Kit’s film!
The event is in partnership with Mubi Canada.
