No)one. Art House operates as a fluctuating collection of artists creating approachable movement-based artistic experiences led by Chris Emile. Using a multidisciplinary approach, No)one. Art House is dedicated to creating opportunities for artistic collaboration, building audiences for the arts and providing learning opportunities. NOAH has collaborated with notable institutions such as the Getty Center, SAINT HERON, Hauser & Wirth and Refinery 29.
Algorythm.Code (Cody Perkins)
Cody Perkins (aka Algorythm.Code) is an interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Sylmar, California. He attended the Alexander Hamilton Music Academy as a Performance and Electronic Music major and continued his studies with a focus on photography and audio engineering. He has scored numerous films and installations for brands and artists, is the founder of the musical collective The Algorythms and has produced music for many independent genre-bending musicians locally and internationally.
Perkins was in residence during the month of July 2023 and showcased their exhibition, In Future Daze/e/ at Ace Palm Springs in August 2023 & October 2023.
Qwenga
Based in Los Angeles, QWENGA is a creative director and dancer who thrives at the intersection of movement, conceptual thinking and innovative visual storytelling. From early beginnings exploring dance and spatial design in their family church to extensive collaborations with global brands and renowned artists, QWENGA’s artistic journey is characterized by a relentless pursuit of fresh perspectives and thought-provoking narratives. As both an artist and a creative director, QWENGA is committed to pushing the boundaries of conventional storytelling, using his unique approach to create immersive, evocative experiences that captivate and transform.
Qwenga was in residence during the month of October 2023 and showcased his performance, Monolith at Ace Palm Springs in November 2023.
Jordan Slaffey
Jordan Slaffey, an Orange County and Los Angeles native, has been dancing since the age of five. As a young adult, she trained in modern dance before finding her way to hip-hop and other urban styles of movement. Blending her classical and hip-hop training, she performs a unique style of improvisational dance, fusing the contemporary with the timeless.
Slaffey was in residence during the month of January 2024 showcased her performance, Sadferociousjoy at Ace Palm Springs in January 2024.
Shauna Davis
Originally from South Florida, Shauna Davis is a creator, dancer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. In creation, Shauna makes cinematic and storied dance experiences influenced by history and the fantasy of the future. She was a 2020–2021 Resident Artist with La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club. Through movement and storytelling, Shauna finds alternate and colorful ways to express the nuances of being, while encompassing themes of legacy, reclamation and popular culture.
Davis was in residence during the month of April 2024 and showcased her work, OMW! at Ace Palm Springs in July 2024.
