Maia has appeared at The Red Cat/Disney Hall, Ford Amphitheater, LACMA Jazz On Friday, The Vibes Summit, Skirball Cultural Center, Central Avenue Jazz Festival, Watts Towers Music Festival, Barbara Morrisons Cultural Center, Top of the Hill Music Festival, The International House of Blues and The World Stage which she calls “home base.” Maia’s musical collaborations on stage include Doug Carn, Michael Session, Dwight Trible, Azar Lawrence, Nicole M. Mitchel, Derf Reklaw, Douglas Ewart’s Interventions, Jazz In Pink, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Annabel lee, Metropolitan Master Chorale, H. B. Barnum’s Life Choir.
Much of Maia’s mission in life has been focused on women’s health and well-being, this is reflected in her musical compositions and creative style.
