Daniela Zepeda aka Xica Soul knows how to make a dance floor move… A vinyl and dance music specialist, Daniela first made a name for herself in the boogie/funk scene playing at parties across California including Los Angeles’ Funkmosphere, Bay Area’s Sweaterfunk, and Santa Ana’s Funk Freaks. Xica Soul weaves varying genres into her sets with ease, telling stories, and pushing limits with her selections. She currently holds a monthly residency at Homage Brewing in Chinatown LA and can be frequently found in Stones Throw related circles playing at Highland Park vinyl bar, Goldline and at The Lodge Room alongside legends Peanut Butter Wolf and J Rocc.

As a DJ, her intention is “to move people, inspire and connect through the honest power of music.”  When you catch one of her sets, you’ll notice she’s always moving, always singing along, and her pure, joyful approach to music shines through. Sweet soul, downtempo, house, disco, boogie, and everything in between are seamlessly blended together with a smile and positive energy that’s felt by everyone on the dance floor.
