Session #1: Dub & Effection
To kick off the Hi-Fi Lounge, EDICA+ hosts a live recording of Dub & Effection, her radio show exploring the intersection of Beats, Electronic Music and Sound System Culture. For this special episode, she invites Montreal’s Icky Magdala, along with fellow Dub-Stuy crew member JonnyGo Figure, to partake in the sonic curation and engaging discussions. DJ sets follow the recording.
Dub & Effection currently airs on dublab, a Los Angeles-based, forward-thinking internet radio station and creative collective dedicated to the growth of positive music, arts, and culture.

Ace Artist in Residence with Lina Sun Park at A!R
Meet our new resident artist, Lina Sun Park. Combining textiles with items of personal significance and perishables, her work balances the quotidian and the fantastical to otherworldly effect. During her November residency, Park will work on an installation in which cloth, ribbons and bread aren’t quite what they seem. This residency is a part of our year-long partnership with Byline.
