- 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm | Wednesday April 19, 2023
- Interspace | Ace Hotel Toronto
- 51 Camden St
- Free
Our new series, “Shorts In Conversation,” makes a moment for cinema and dialogue. We invite an organization to curate a showing of three films alongside their makers, followed by the directors in dialogue about their craft. This month’s screening focuses on queer documentaries.
The following directors will be showing their work: Dylan Glynn, director of “Thot or Not”, Amanda Ann-Min Wong, director of “The Way We Are” and Jessie Posthumus, director of Small Congratulations.
Inside Out, the Toronto-based queer film festival, is our curator for February. Their mission is to share stories that exist to challenge attitudes and change lives through the promotion, production and exhibition of film made by and about 2SLGBTQ+ people of all ages, races and abilities.
All films screening will be accompanied with open captions or English subtitles (all languages will be subtitled, including English).
For any access needs (or accessibility concerns) for the events, please contact michael.nyarkoh@acehotel.com. Any ASL interpreter requests must be booked 72 hours in advance.
