Tables of Contents is a home for significant, surprising, and delicious gatherings at the intersections of food, arts, and culture. Their monthly reading series uses food to catalyze connections and conversations between individuals via the vulnerability of the table, while highlighting and championing the diverse literary voices creating our contemporary canon.
December’s Tables of Contents reading at Ace Hotel Brooklyn is presented in partnership with The Center for Fiction, and will feature readings from award-winning writers Torrey Peters (Detransition, Baby), C Pam Zhang (How Much Of These Hills Is Gold), and Daniel Loedel (Hades, Argentina). Chef Evan Hanczor will create bites paired with each author’s reading, and will facilitate a conversation among the authors that will dig into cooking, writing, and the creative process.
This event will run from 6pm – 8pm at Ace Hotel Brooklyn’s Demo Kitchen. Tickets are $40, and include all food and one complimentary drink per person. Please alert us in advance of any food allergies and we will confirm if they can be accommodated. Proof of vaccination is required for entry.
