Jazzy Sport Weekend Jam -JS Kyoto 8th Anniversary- at PIOPIKO

Following the success of the first event, the second edition will be held in celebration of Jazzy Sport Kyoto’s 8th Anniversary.
For this special occasion, the guest DJs will be CAPTAIN VINYL (DJ NORI + MURO).

CAPTAIN VINYL is a DJ unit formed by DJ NORI and MURO, known for their distinctive back-to-back style using only 7-inch vinyl records, alternating tracks one by one. Their genre-spanning selections—ranging from SOUL, DISCO, and FUNK to the latest sounds—have captivated dance floors worldwide, leading to appearances at major festivals and parties both in Japan and internationally.
In 2018, they released the mix CD DIGGIN’ DISCO presented by CAPTAIN VINYL via Universal Music, and in 2023 celebrated their 10th anniversary as a duo. With ongoing bi-monthly residencies at DJ BAR Bridge SHINJUKU and BLUE NOTE PLACE Ebisu, CAPTAIN VINYL continues to be a vital force in the scene.

This anniversary edition promises another one-of-a-kind musical experience at Ace Hotel Kyoto, marking a milestone moment for Jazzy Sport Kyoto.

第2回目となる今回は Jazzy Sport Kyotoの8周年アニバーサリーを記念して開催。
この特別な夜のゲストDJには、CAPTAIN VINYL（DJ NORI + MURO）を迎えます。

CAPTAIN VINYLは、DJ NORIとMUROによるDJユニット。
7インチレコードのみを使用し、1曲ごとに交互でプレイするバック・トゥ・バックのスタイルを特徴とし、SOUL、DISCO、FUNKから最新のサウンドまで、ジャンルを横断した選曲で国内外のダンスフロアを魅了してきました。日本および海外の主要フェスティバルやパーティーにも多数出演。

2018年には、ユニバーサルミュージックよりMIX CD『DIGGIN’ DISCO presented by CAPTAIN VINYL』をリリース。
2023年にはユニット結成10周年を迎えました。現在はDJ BAR Bridge SHINJUKU、BLUE NOTE PLACE EBISUにて隔月レギュラー開催を行うなど、シーンにおいて重要な存在であり続けています。

本アニバーサリーイベントでは、Ace Hotel Kyotoにて、Jazzy Sport Kyotoにとって節目となる唯一無二の音楽体験をお届けします。
