The Chinese calendar divides the year into 24 seasonal points 二十四节气 (also called “solar terms”). These 2-week long seasonal periods make up the 5 seasons and each of these are associated with certain foods. Learn the culinary wisdom behind those seasonal points with Traditional Chinese Medicine chef and nutritionist Zoey Gong. Let us eat with season and tune-in to mother nature!
In February: we learn ALL ABOUT TOFU!
Tofu is so much more than soft, firm, and extra firm. In this workshop, you will be able to learn ways to cook 7 different kinds of uncommon soy products and taste the different flavors and textures of them.
Ticket price includes ingredients for the workshop. Proof of vaccination mandatory.
Zoey Gong is a Traditional Chinese Medicine chef and nutritionist. Born in Shanghai, China, she now lives in New York City, where she hosts pop-up medicinal dinners and collaborates with various brands to teach the wisdom of medicinal cooking. She is the founder of Five Seasons TCM, a boutique wellness brand that shares and modernizes the knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) food therapy through educational content, functional products and its avant-garde aesthetic

Demo Kitchen has capacity for 96 people and is also available for private rental.
