OURS: A Group Show For the City of New York

OURS is a group effort. A showcase of photos, doodles, words, drawings and moments that make up the millions of reasons we can’t quit New York City. It’s a show that fans the flames that brought us all here and keeps us here. A wall of hope, a leading light toward our future.
Submissions open May 12, 2021 and close May 30, 2021. Every artwork selected will be hung at 11×14 inches, as a collectable show edition of one. Each print will be up for sale at $150 with all proceeds to benefit the Teen Art Salon. This city is yours, this show is OURS and this moment is for all of us.
All submissions must be 300dpi.

A conversation with phlegm, a New Orleans born and based artist who works in face painting and self portraiture. He is inspired by Black cultural tone from across the diaspora; pulling inspiration from the Black Masking Indians of New Orleans, the Dogon of Mali, the Fulani of Nigeria, and the Zouli dance of Ivory Coast.wilds of the interior is a collection of work that aims to answer his question, “what parts of myself are hidden to me?”.
