Around Strange Phool’s Tablescape

  • 7:00 pm - 11:30 pm | Tuesday January 23, 2024
  • Interspace | Ace Hotel Toronto
  • 51 Camden St

Mimosa Haque, a Bangladeshi Canadian artist, explores otherworldly gardenscapes and newfangled floral design under the moniker Strange Phool. On January 23, she will set an intricate tablescape inspired by nature’s imperfections and the architectural elements of Ace Toronto. Upon that table, we will serve a three-course dinner with wine pairings prepared by Alder. Fusing Strange Phool’s singular perspective on plants and the wood-fired cooking of Michelin-star Chef Patrick Kriss, the evening will be a meditation on how we construct the organic within ourselves.

Celebrate a night building arrangements, and dining in good company.

A portion of ticket sales will go to SOSA (Society of South Asian Architects, Canada) the not-for-profit organization that embraces and aims to promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the professions of architecture and design.
