A live, open-air jazz and dinner series.

Meet us outside under the desert sky every Wednesday 7.30–9.30pm for a night of auditory bliss, paired with a menu of delights from the kitchen.

This week’s performance: Miles Lennox

Miles Lennox is a pianist/keyboardist and composer from Sunrise, Florida who began playing piano at the age of 7. He studied at the Dillard Center for the Arts with Christopher Dorsey and Stephen Scott, and got his undergraduate degree from the Manhattan School of Music studying with Stefon Harris, Marc Cary, and Phil Markowitz.

He is now attending the Herbie Hancock Institute at UCLA to pursue his Master’s. Miles was the winner of the 2019 Essentially Ellington Big Band Composition Contest where his composition, “Open Windows”, was performed and recorded by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Miles was a 2020 YoungArts Finalist in Jazz Piano/Composition and was selected for the 2022 Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program led by Jason Moran and The Kennedy Center.

Lennox has also released his debut album, “Something to Say”, which features 11 original compositions on all streaming platforms. He has performed with artists such as Sean Jones, Stefon Harris, Brian Lynch, Jon Faddis, Patrick Bartley, Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Wycliffe Gordon, Lonnie Plaxico, Nat Adderley Jr., Curtis Lundy, Bobby Watson, amongst many others.
