Joining us in our gallery in the new year is accomplished painter and solo exhibitionist, Tsuyoshi Nigamushi. Tsuyoshi also curates his own events as an art director, whose works overlap various fields of visual design such as character, branding, and logo design. Both graphic and nostalgic, his designs have been featured in Journal-Standard, Casa Brutus, and countless galleries throughout Japan.

Oyster Readings is a new project by Cooking Sections created for the Prospect.5 Triennial. Oysters tell us stories of the coasts and their futures. Book an Oyster Reading to hear how coastal inhabitation, subsidence, sedimentation, and offshore drilling are read within an oyster, and what that might tell you of your lives and experience. *Performances run Friday–Saturday, 4 PM–6 PM

Since 2007, Norio has been the owner of Record Shop Rare Groove, a record store in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. RareGroove is known for its deep and wide selection of disco, psychedelic rock, new age music, and house music, attracting DJs and music lovers from Japan and abroad.
