This October, GOODEE and Ace Hotel Brooklyn come together for Home Away From Home, a week shaped by the objects, rituals, and stories that make a place feel like home.
At its heart is a room curated by GOODEE co-founders Byron and Dexter Peart, bringing together the work of 40+ artisan Makers from around the world and exploring the connections between people, place, culture, and the things we choose to live with.
📅 October 12 at 7PM: Join us for the opening night and a special edition of Sydney Gore’s The Conversation Pit, with Byron and Dexter Peart, and chef + artist Phoebe Tran, exploring the invisible threads that connect us across places, spaces, and cultures. Room reveal follows. Free with RSVP. Limited spaces.
📅 October 12 to 15: Step inside the room and discover a home away from home. Bid on one-of-a-kind pieces by GOODEE Makers and a special stay at Ace Hotel Brooklyn, with a portion of proceeds supporting a local Brooklyn organization dedicated to preserving craft. Free with RSVP.
