JOY OF TRAVEL, COLOURS OF TRAVEL Original Drawings by Samiro Yunoki

From September 1 to October 31, Ace Hotel Kyoto will host the “Original Works of Samiro Yunoki” exhibition in the Lobby Gallery.

This exhibition traces the creative journey of Yunoki, whose vast collection of “fragments of travel” was gathered across Europe, India, and various regions of Japan — where memory and color intersect in his work. To complement the exhibition, we have also prepared a limited-time accommodation plan, allowing guests to fully enjoy Yunoki’s room art, playful amenities, and stencil-dyed works displayed throughout the hotel.

In addition, the plan includes tickets to the special exhibition “100 Years of Mingei” at the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art, held during the same period. This is a unique opportunity to experience the deep connection between Kyoto and Mingei, and the everyday beauty that thrives within it.

A special reception celebrating the opening of the exhibition will be held at the Lobby Gallery on Friday, September 5, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Participation is free.

9月1日から10月31日までの期間、エースホテル京都 ロビーギャラリーにて「柚木沙弥郎 原画展」を開催いたします。
ヨーロッパ、インド、日本各地を旅して集めた膨大な“旅のかけら”──記憶と色彩が交差する、柚木氏の創造の軌跡をたどる展示です。また本展示にあわせ、柚木氏が手がけた客室アートや遊び心あふれるアメニティ、館内各所に点在する型染作品を存分に楽しめる、期間限定の宿泊プランもご用意しました。
さらに、同時期に京都市京セラ美術館で開催される特別展「民藝誕生100年」の観覧券も含まれております。京都と民藝の深い結びつき、そしてそのなかに息づく日常の美しさを、この機会にぜひご体感ください。

また、9月5日（金）18時から20時まで　ロビーギャラリーにて原画展開催記念レセプションを開催（参加費無料）。
