About:
Zaq, hailing from Athens, is a seasoned music producer and DJ with a passion for blending diverse genres. Influenced by the sounds of early ’80s and ’90s drum machines and synths, his music spans from ambient and reggae to dub, Italo, Balearic disco, and ambient house. His studio setup features an impressive array of vintage equipment, including Roland and Korg machines, a Yamaha DX-7, and a Roland Space Echo, among many others. For over 13 years, Zaq has been DJing almost exclusively on vinyl, crafting eclectic sets that weave together rhythms of dub, Balearic beats, disco, and house music.
