Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles has many ADA compliant rooms, including our Medium, Loft and Large Double Queen rooms. Please call our Reservations team or use our website to book one of these rooms.
Our hotel has ADA access and our ground floor restaurant Loam is ADA accessible with compliant bathrooms and a Mezzanine accessible via an express elevator. Upstairs, our rooftop pool and lounge, is ADA accessible via an express elevator, ramp to ADA compliant restrooms and the pool is equipped with a chair lift. We have 6 ADA compliant parking spots and our fire alarms are equipped with both flashing lights and audio alerts. The Theatre next door has ADA compliant restrooms on the lower level and access to the balcony level via a historic elevator. Braille signage is in our rooms, public spaces and elevators.
Upstairs:
Reclining by the sunny sidelines of our rooftop pool, ADA accessible via chair lift, or stool-perched after sunset with the city’s bright lights stretched out in all directions, Upstairs’ eclectic drink menu is carefully cultivated to complement the vibrant atmosphere of our home on top of Downtown Los Angeles, including frozen drink specials and small plates served poolside. Open to all, you can go Upstairs via a super fast ADA compliant express elevator right off our restaurant Loam.
LOAM DTLA:
We’re an ADA compliant neighborhood bistro serving a menu inspired by the vibrant city of Los Angeles. Chef Michael Cimarusti of critically acclaimed Providence and Connie & Ted’s helms the menu with Chef Edward Carew running the kitchen, and Beverage Director Clay Wendel generously pouring the wine, beer and cocktails.
Mezzanine:
60 person capacity
The dining table is in the comfortable crow’s nest atop our bustling Loam restaurant — a polished hideaway tucked above the fray, with ADA access via a super fast express elevator. The Mezzanine’s long table provides an ideal spot for making an impression, as its open views look out over the restaurant’s lofty ceilings and beautiful stained glass windows. The entire Mezzanine, which includes the communal table, additional seating and bar, can be reserved for parties of 30-60 guests.
Segovia Hall:
Segovia Hall is our flexible, ADA compliant second floor event space, spilling over with natural light and Old Hollywood mystique. We named the spacious stateroom after the Spanish cathedral that inspired Mary Pickford’s vision for the United Artists Theater — its lush, heavy red curtains a nod to her distinctive taste for opulence. It can function as one large room, or be portioned into three separate banquet spaces, depending on your needs. It’s an ideal space for myriad uses — parties, dinners, gallery exhibits, wedding receptions, photoshoots or whatever other event you need a home for.
Walker / Eisen Room:
Adjoining the main chamber of Segovia Hall is the Walker / Eisen room — our highly adaptable second floor banquet space with ADA access. The room works great for meetings and gatherings, parties both reserved and rebellious. You can also use it for product launches catered by our on-site restaurant.
Rooftop Pool:
Minimum 50 person reservations
The rooftop pool is a deep and cold respite from Angeleno sun. You can vogue poolside or relax with a fresh-squeezed cocktail prescribed by our friendly mixologists. The pool is home to DJs and artist parties, as well as the occasional yoga class and pop-up shop. It’s got ADA accessible restrooms and a pool chair lift.
The Theatre:
We’re sitting right on top of one of the most remarkable gems in the city — a delicately restored, 1,600-seat movie palace from the 1920s with a three-story, 2,300 square foot grand lobby, an ornate open balcony and mezzanine and a vaulted ceiling with thousands of tiny mirrors that glimmer when lit. The Theatre at Ace Hotel is the literal foundation of Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. It’s ADA accessible with compliant restrooms and access to the balcony level via a historic elevator.
