Primary emerged in October 2023 as a natural evolution and a pivotal reset for Picnic, previously one of Sydney’s premier touring and events companies. After fifteen years at the forefront of Sydney’s left-field electronic music and events scene, it became imperative to pause and redirect focus toward a new chapter: a new Primary focus.

And now they’re back for a month of Saturdays with a suitably fitting line-up of DJs for your listening pleasure.
