J Davies: Photography Exhibition in Good Chemistry
- All Day | Thursday February 19, 2026 - Friday May 01, 2026
- Good Chemistry | Ace Hotel Sydney
- 47-53 Wentworth Ave.
Ace Hotel Sydney in partnership with UNSW Galleries. On exhibit from February til end of April.
J Davies examines intimacy, identity and neurodiversity through a deeply personal lens, and is known for an expansive photographic archive documenting queer culture and community in Naarm/Melbourne. J’s practice opens a candid window into moments of unapologetic queerness, foregrounding relationships, bodies and lived experience. Their works challenge conventional depictions of queer identity, instead offering space for personal narratives shaped by love, connection and
belonging. Their photographs question entrenched social norms around sexuality, gender and intimacy while celebrating the tenderness, playfulness and fluid physicality that define queer relational worlds.
