Pilot Season is a live event where unproduced television pilots are performed as a staged reading by actors in front of a live audience.

For each event, spec pilot scripts by emerging or established screenwriters are selected and brought to life on stage. This gives writers the rare chance to hear their work aloud, actors an opportunity to perform new material, and audiences a glimpse into how TV is made.

There is a HUGE screenwriting community in Sydney, but no community event that serves them. Writers spend years developing spec scripts — unpaid, unseen work created in the hope of a sale, future production or as a sample. Despite the enormous time, talent and craft involved, these scripts are

To submit scripts and for actor EOI, visit the bio on @pilotseason__ or click through here.

Pilot Season is open to writers, actors, execs, directors, TV lovers, first dates, everyone and anyone, and a fun way for the wider TV industry to come along and hear their peers work, network, and build community.”
