Efficient Space presents a deep listening session with revered wayfinder DJ Chee Shimizu.
Hailed for his trademark blend of rare European Jazz, fusion, spiritual, electroacoustic, ethnic and ambient, Shimizu is the coveted mind behind Tokyo’s specialist store Organic Music. A propagator of the recent boom in Japanese music curiosity, he has played a crucial hand in the revival of Yasuaki Shimizu, Aragon, Toshifumi Hinata and more. His incense burning NTS residency, CD mixes and the penning of cult record guidebook Obscure Sound have further amplified his legend.
