Efficient Spaces Presents Laraaji Laughter Meditation
- 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm | Wednesday April 03, 2024
- Brick | Ace Hotel Sydney
- 47-53 Wentworth Ave
Efficient Space and Ace Hotel Sydney invite Laraaji to lead the playful and high spirited exploratory practice of laughter meditation.
Laraaji is a visionary musician and mystic based in New York City. After working the nightclub circuit as a stand-up comedian, he turned to playing music on the streets in the ‘70s, improvising trance-inducing jams on a modified autoharp processed through various electronic effects. Brian Eno famously encountered him busking in Washington Square Park, dropping a note that led to their seminal collaboration Ambient 3: Day of Radiance. Amassing a catalogue of over 50 albums, he has basked in a recent renaissance via new and reissued recordings on Numero Group, Leaving and All Saints, with flautist André 3000 citing him as a major influence on New Blue Sun.
Circle around this New Age icon as he guides us through this powerful emotional release. The 6:30PM session has limited spaces – save your spot here.
“Laughter is the best medicine ~ lighten up, loosen up, laugh it up!” – Laraaji
