Bacteria Books and Ace Hotel Sydney’s Living Library brings together a curated selection of books and periodicals designed to stimulate thought and cultivate attention. In the spirit of Ace’s globally minded yet locally focused approach, the Living Library features a collection of thematically linked titles, rotating seasonally. From design to ecology to poetry, the Living Library is a radical cross-pollination of stories and ideas and an open invitation to explore both the world around us and the inner life of the mind.

A!R: Jordan Gogos at Good Chemistry
Artist & fashion designer @jordangogos spent some weeks in residence at Ace Hotel Sydney creating Ace Accordions – a body of work shaped between his studio at the Powerhouse Museum and the rooms of Ace. Transforming remnants into layered worlds of colour, texture and memory, the works were stitched, folded, drawn and assembled on-site throughout the residency.
